The 4th annual Green Mountain Relay enjoyed pleasant summer weather as 51 teams battled it out over 200 miles of rural Vermont. The ultra team, MAD GAS, took home top honors with a time of 22:51:16, an average pace of 6:56, good for a course record. Victorious Secret took the Mixed Division (24:23:10), while Running with Scissors took the Open Division (23:26:55). The Metacomet Masochists, a super-ultra team made up of just 3 members (that’s an average of 66.6 miles per person!) finished the course in 29:44:41, or an average pace of 9:01. What is in the water out there in Vermont??!!!
